The window

  • Top: Live Preview checkbox (default on), Start, Stop.
  • Tab Main Control: profiles, your mode's main settings, and online timing.
  • Tab Capture: video source, preview, model and detection settings, Save Settings.
  • Settings auto-save to the selected profile ("Auto-saved: …").
  • Ignore the last item in the bottom status bar. It doesn't show your adapter connection in this version.

Quick start

  1. Connect capture card and adapter (Section 2), and open the NBA module.
  2. In NBA 2K: shot meter on (except for Skeleton Pose). Pick a meter color and keep the same meter style every session.
  3. Open your NBA module from the Launcher.
  4. Capture tab: choose your card in Capture Source (click Refresh if it's missing). Resolution: Auto, Capture FPS: 60 (120 if your card supports it).
  5. Click Start and check the preview shows your game.
  6. Go to practice / Freestyle, take 10–20 shots, and adjust using your mode's guide below.
  7. Make one profile per situation (for example "MyCareer offline", "Rec online").

Refresh after plugging in

Resolution:

Options: Auto · 1280x720 · 1920x1080 · 2560x1440Default: Auto

Auto uses the card's native size, and works for most people

Capture FPS:

Options: 30 · 60 · 90 · 120Default: 60

120 gives finer timing if your card and PC keep up

Preview FPS:

Options: 30 · 60Default: 60

Only affects the on-screen preview

Pop out preview

Pop out preview opens the preview in its own window, which is handy on a second monitor. Turn Live Preview off in real games to save resources.

Main Control: profiles

Profile:

Profile: dropdown (choosing one loads it immediately) and Load. Name: with Save / Rename, New Profile, Delete Profile (the last profile can't be deleted).

Main Control: online timing

Game Mode:

Game Mode: Offline / MyCareer (default) or Online (Park / Rec / Pro-Am).

  • Choose Online to show Netcode (ms). It applies to Fixed Timing and Colors. Shot Meter and Skeleton aren't affected.

Netcode (ms):

Default: 80

Netcode (ms):, default 80

  • The app releases that much earlier to make up for online delay.
  • Online releases are late? Raise it by 10. Early? Lower it by 10.

NBA - Fixed Timing

Timing (ms):

Default: 400

Timing (ms): ["hold time"], default 400

  • How long the shoot button is held before release. Every jump shot has its own magic number, usually 350–700 ms.
  • Type a value and click Apply, or click into the box and press ↑ / ↓ to change it by 1 ms, which applies instantly.
  • Early feedback in game → raise it. Late → lower it. Use steps of 25, then 10, then 1.

Shot meter color:

Default: Purple

Shot meter color: default Purple. Match the meter color you picked in NBA 2K.

Your Timing (ms)400 ms
Try Early, Green, and Late feedback to adjust the timing value in smaller steps.

Tips: one jump shot = one number, so save a profile per jump shot. Catch-and-shoot and off-dribble can need different numbers.

NBA - Colors

Preset:

Default: Purple

Your in-game meter color: Purple, Red, Blue, Dark Green, Yellow, Orange, White. Purple and Blue stand out best.

Release Early (ms):

Default: 0

Releases a bit before the computed perfect point. Consistently slightly late → 10–30. Early → back toward 0.

Enable Training Updates

Default: on

Keeps learning your meter's full height from real shots. Turn off to "freeze" a dialed-in setup.

Reset Training

Default: —

Click after changing meter style, size, resolution or jump shot.

Search ROI Height: ["search strip height"]

Default: 550

Height of the screen area searched for the meter. Raise it if your meter sits high. Lower it to ignore colorful jerseys.

Mask Debug

Default: off

Shows what the color filter "sees" in the preview. For troubleshooting only.

Best visibility: Purple / Blue
Seven meter colors; Purple and Blue offer the best visibility.

NBA - Shot Meter

Model:

Model: the module loads its built-in model automatically (status: "Model: …"). Use Browse / Load only if support gives you another model.

Confidence:

Default: 50

Meter not found → 35–40. Wrong things detected → 60–70.

Min Fill:

Default: 15

How full the meter must be before it counts as a real shot (filters flickers).

Release Thresh:

Default: 92

The fill % that counts as perfect. Early → 93–95. Late → 88–91. Change it by 1.

Search ROI Height:

Default: 550

Same idea as in Colors.

ROI Padding:

Default: 24

Extra margin around the meter once found. Raise it if your meter moves during the shot.

NBA - Skeleton Pose

Works with the meter off: it watches your player's shooting arm.

Confidence:

Default: 50

Skeleton drops out → lower it. Latches onto other players → raise it.

Arm Angle:

Default: 145

The arm angle that marks the release (180 = straight). Early → raise it. Late → lower it. Use 5° steps.

Trigger Frames:

Default: 3

Frames the angle must hold. Pump fakes trigger it → raise it. Always late → 2.

Release Delay:

Default: 200

Your main dial (ms). Early → raise it. Late → lower it.

Search ROI Height:

Default: 550

Height of the area searched.

Two-stage

Default: off

First finds your player, then reads the pose. More reliable on crowded courts (Park/Rec).

Player Model:

Default: —

Load the player model with its own Browse / Load for Two-stage.

Player Conf:

Default: 35

Sets the player detection confidence for Two-stage.
